When you apply for a job it normally says “upload resume.” Then when you click upload, the page refreshes to a “form” where they tried to input all your resume information into the right sections of the form! You start reading through the form and your realize all the information inputted is in the wrong sections!
Why do jobs not just have the pdf version of your resume? People spend days making the perfect resume and then take years to fix the sections in the form so it is correct! Maybe it is more efficient for their review at work, but I’m always confused how it is easier. I usually just skip jobs that require an additional application, unless I really want the job. Too much extra time to fill out everything that is already on my resume. Plus they don’t get to see my pretty header and design! 🙂
